The Department of Recreation, Natural Resources, & Culture is welcoming Applications for employment to support our 2024 Cool Summer in the Capital City programs and events that will run from Monday, June 24, 2024 through Monday, September 2, 2024. The duration of employment varies between programs.

THE MARCH 22ND DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED AND YOU MAY ONLY APPLY FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS. ALL OTHER TITLES ARE CLOSED TO APPLY:

Summer Pool Program – is responsible for maintaining five public swimming pools and Canoeing
at Cadwalader Park.​
  • (10) Pool Managers** $19.25 per hour; 40 hour work week
  • (50) Lifeguards** $17.50 per hour; 40 hour work week
​
All applicants under the age of 18 will need to obtain working papers before starting employment.
